I love classical! Chopin and Shostakovich are my favorite composers. I'm not a fan of opera though.

Where I live, all of my peers think I'm really odd for listening to classical.

Nothing weird about it, the people around where I live as well think I'm weird for listening to classical music as well. I personally don't worry about it and neither should you. :smile:

Opera can be intimidating to newcomers. I suggest listening to Verdi or Mozart operas, as they tend to be more appealing to modern popular audiences. :smile:
