I have season one on cd, but have yet to get season two. (but I will) This is an amazing show.

Lyle and Townes were great friends, we all were ...

EVERYONE idolized and KNEW Townes was the main talent, way before the world knew ...

Townes could really book a room; Lyle could NOT! Funny that ... how fate made some of 'em more famous than the more talented ... Had so much to do w/ mental health, drink and drugs, of course ...

Eric Taylor (undiscovered by 'real fame') was a GREAT in the circle ... Look up his music ...

Eric and Townes were total messes!

One night Eric just shoots up a friend's van w/ as many bullets as he could load ... Nanci Griffith was married to him back then ... He mentored her ...

Townes was famous for crawlin' in dumpsters w/ winos and missin' his shows ...

Well Elvis has talked about him for years and his name comes up often on the show when he talks to people about writing lyrics.

Been busy today pullin' off Easter for the lil Squid and random postin' ...
