I fired up the turntable today. It had been a little while. I still have about 100 albums and they are still fun to listen to. Just sounds better to me. Maybe a few cracks here and there. Anybody still enjoy the vinyl???????smokin

Ohhh hell yeah I don't have a lot of Albums but have between 20-30 with a bunch of 45's as well. From time to time I still get them out and spin them on the turntable... My turntable happens to be and antique it looks like a Grandfather Clock that has a turntable and radio with wireless speakers. Took a picture of it lets see if it comes out to where you can see it actually got if from a friend that got it from someone that was going to throw it away and it works perfect.....

I wish I had all of the ones from when I was a kid. The last time I went through my albums I found an old picture of my high school sweetheart......smokin

I worked at the Saugatuck Pop Festival in 1968, and have been putting a collection of the records from all the groups that played there....Great art work.

So sad that what would have been a record collection to inherit had to be sold for the rent, but I love vinyl. Even the word. Hehe.

I used to have an original press of Orson Welles' "War of the Worlds" broadcast.

My daughter is really in love with vinyl. I would estimate she has at least 60 or 70 albums that she has collected on her own over the past few years but the really cool thing is that when my Dad passed he willed her his old Victrolla and his collection. I can't even begin to guess how many he had. I know that there is one set that are made from some sort of metal (pre WWII) and she also received at least 20 wax master copies. Pretty cool.

She is currently trying to collect 45's but they seem to be very hard to find.

I have a huge vinyl collection(many from grandparents, and a lot from my dad when he downsized his collection, plus 20 some years of buying)- still buy them when I can. Not just music, but also collect comedy albums like Bob Newhart, Jonathan Winters, and the spoof's on the presidents- The First Family, and The First Family Rides Again...I still have the records(flexi-disc) that came in issues of Mad Magazine(A Mad Look at Graduation, It's a Super Spectacular Day, Makin' Out)

And I have these classics:
