This is a lily I did in pastels last week. It's probably been a good 20 yrs. or more since the last time I did pastels. Might attempt a portrait in pastels over the summer.

That is outstanding work ShutterHoney! You have an excellent eye and use the medium beautifully. I can't use pastels,charcoals or graphites cause I tend to drag my hand and smear it...still, I apprecieate the skills.
THAT'S REALLY PRETTY. I SHOULD TRY OTHER THING BUT STUCK ON OIL.
