define brutal... i'm into cradle of filth, behemoth, hatebreed, job for a cowboy to name a few... but most metal fans draw their loyalty lines very closely.

I listen to a wide range of metal. belphegor, amon amarth, dissection,cannibal corpse, slayer. Way to many to list. brutal in my opinion means aggressive and heavy musically and vocally. \m/.

slayer is awesome, saw them on a card with marilyn manson, who i adore....interesting crowd that was lol. \m/

I saw marilyn manson 3 times it was awsome. One was in a small venue in minneapolis that was cool.

slayer, amon amarth, lamb of god, arch enemy, dethklok (haha), manson, meshuggah, cannibal corpse, mors principum est and napalm death... there are more in my playlist but i dont have all day.
but honestly the range of music i listen to is so wide i go from hearing death metal to hearing pachelbel.
go figure...

although, i refuse to listen to rap or hip-hop. that is just not my cup of tea. hmm, speaking of tea...

most of the metal i like aren't brutal, but i do like avenged sevenfold, cradle of filth, in this moment, the agonist, hatebreed,system of a down, skylark, light this city, just to name a few.
