As far as bands that r inspiring to me, I 'd have to say Sugarland, their music is so positive, and the messages so hopeful.
I'd say the same thing also about Van Halen's lyrics - most of them - especially from the earlier days with songs like Why Can't This Be Love, and When Love Walks In.
When I need some music to lift my mood, either of these r a good choice, Dixie Chicks too - for the same reasons
I think a lot of baands play upligting music, but these 3 probably moreso than others
B. B. King teaches me that life sucks and love hurts and you go on and live your life anyway.
