By several critical accounts, mine included, the RRHOF began to seriously lose credibility after the 2002 induction class was announced. Quite a few artists are in that do not belong and conversely several artists should've been in long ago.

In my opinion, Leon Russell, Tom Waits, and Dr. John are the only semi-legitimate 2011 inductees. Any thoughts?

I wanna know why Maiden, Priest, UFO, Cooper, KISS, Rush among others are not in? There are so many who have contributed NOTHING to R&R that are in, it should be called the rock and roll hall of stupid. The people who make the decision of who is to be inducted are probably the same people who gave Jethro Tull the best metal album award in the 89 or 90.

Alice Cooper is the grand-daddy of shock-rock..thanks to him, people like Marylin Manson, et all even exist today...I think Alice is way over due for some recognition and Im glad to hear he is a nominee.

Cooper was not just nominated, he will be inducted.
