Ok, I am fairly new to all these online dating site(s).
It seems like everytime I open my email, I get at least 10 Russian women
emailing me - and they are all drop dead gorgeous. What gives? Is this a
scam I haven't heard about? How do I avoid these women from contacting
me? Any other men (or women) having this problem?

Ya I think they probley want to defect or marry in the USA that would be
a big gamble but you never know.

i had one today but it is the first russian i've received. i held on too
the original e-mail just incase it is a scammer. i also had one another
time but deleted the e-mail. you're right though. every one that i have
seen is gorgeous, must be chyrnoble.

Ya got that right. Like they say when its too good to be true then it
is. Visa time or money. But... then I dont blame them for sending them
too you. At least they have good taste. Good luck.

It is a scam. I got a lot of those emails before, and I even started
talking to one of them. She started telling me that she wanted to come
to the US to be with me, but she needed me to send me her $500. When I
told her that I didn't have any money, I never heard from her again.

they usually want you to contact them via private e-mail. when i get one
i usually send a reply kindly stating that i only communicate through
this site and i usually never hear from them again. i saved the
original(URL) so i can have the people from the site check it. i hope
yours is not a scammer.

I tend to believe along with everybody, it is truly a "duck".

But continued along those lines:

It made me mad because I knew it was a scam from the get go. What made
me mad is that I was right. I kinda hoped it wasn't a scam, but it was.
I even sent emails back to the original emai address. Every time I did,
I got and email from the postmaster saying that the email couldn't be
deliverable. Damn scams.

A few a true scams as they only want you to send them money.

One of the Russian ladies was very forward with me after a couple
emails saying she would make me a good wife and mother to the children I
already have if I would go to russia and file the paper work to get her
to the US. So many of them are seeking a way out of russia through
marriage. I say let them be as they are wanting to better their lives.

They think your a spy, so they want to corvort with ya. LOL

maybe it's presadent Putin posining as a sexy KBG agent. LOL

it's a scam...I was on another friends and dating site and I got no
fewer than 10 from Russian women, and all of them soon after had their
headlines blocked by the site administrators so they couldn't contact or
be contacted. The funny part was..half of them already claimed to live
in the States lol

Again where are the Russian Men?
