Personally, I haven't heard any new music that I liked since about 1990. Pandora allows you to create a "radio station" that plays only music that you like. they have done a pretty good job developing some kind of algorhythm for characterizing a piece of music on a number of parameters. In my case, I plugged in Tears for Fear. My customized "radio station" played lots of tunes by bands I had never heard of that I like d a lot. Many of the bands were contemporary.

Pandora and Napster have been my only sources of music for years.

Live365.com was good to though, I haven't checked them out in a long while.

Pandora radio is way better. You can thumb up or thumb down a song, and it will play more of what you like, not play what you dislike. It's awesome.

I myself am addicted to winamp/shoutcast radio. (slap the Llama's azz! lol )
