Is there any sites left to download free music to an MP3 player?

If you want to send an e-mail, that would work as well.

You can use limewire.com. I haven't used it in a couple months, but I'm sure its still up and running. Its just a peer to peer website. Also check out newgrounds.com. A lot of unknown musicians, developers, etc post their music there. Just look for the audio portal once you get into the main page. Newgrounds is not your mainstream artists you hear on the radio now.

I advise against PvP sites as they tend to be infested with viruses...limewire is gone bearshare is dead..there is a PvP called Ares, you can download the software and get connected...Emule is another PvP..but you gotta be careful and properly scan your download before opening any archive..we have a site here called Taringa, its a no host site with thousands of users sharing files via file host servers..of course, it totally illegal and might get you into trouble if you live in the states...

Mp3lemon.org normally has a wide range of albums and remixes. Searchmp3.mobi has almost everything.

Unless you pay for the site or the songs on any of these sites, you are obtaining them illegally.

No need for the sarcastic remark. I work in the music industry, if I really wanted I could report this conversation. And the person asking about free downloads could get a visit from RIAA. $250,000 per file fine. Hows that for captain obvious?
