I find it odd that bands like UFO, Accept, Saxon, Rose Tattoo, Circus Of Power and I'm sure there are others never made it big in America. Why are we so effin' picky when it comes to metal? Europe embraces all metal and you see sharing the stage at festivals bands like Mayhem, Bon Jovi, Slayer, Poison, Iron Maiden and Europe. You never see something like that here.

I think sometimes it's a fashion status thing. If nobodies talkin about a band you're into, then it gets quickly ignored. It's really annoying.

ols achool metal to me is ozzy & blue cheer, deep purple, golden earring (some what) but IDK that they were inder rated - maybe blue cheer even tho they started it all
