Love Mariah but there will always be a special place in my heart for Britney. A friend of mine had her 1st cd when it was released and her, my sister and I would come up with our own choreography to her songs. Wait, we did that with the Spice Girls and Cher as well. Good times.

christina aguilera, minnie ripperton, and many other artists have had that range


but its still something to admire,,,

You know I was not talking about range but about her vocalization,
poise, delivery, songwriting, performance ~ the whole package.

I also really like a couple of Briney's recent efforts particularly
And Then We Kiss and Till The World Ends.

But Mariah's unbelievable volume and quality of work over the years
- has just been astounding y'know?

I was brought up on Mariah Carey songs, so i pretty much love most of her songs. I do prefer her older stuff though. My mum would constantly play her albums.

Also, i quite like Christina Aguilera's stuff. But again, her earlier stuff. I prefer her very first album. I just feel the songs are more real on that album.

Not a fan of Britney. A few of her songs are passable for me, but for the most part I just wish she would go away. But I 100% agree with Aguilera. She has a lot of good songs. Saw her during her Stripped Tour when she was Touring with Timberlake. Her show was great... his... not so much.

Mariah Carey is OK. Not a huge fan, but some of her songs are pretty good.

Strickly 90s though. I make it a rule to tell people that. Mostly ALL her songs I dig. Even the B-sides and non-singles.

Have you heard Britney sing live? You gotta dig for that. Every time it sounds like she's about to dry heave.
