I used to go watch Edgar Winter play before he got famous. Genesis came to town before they got famous.

The first famous band was The Who, doing what I think was the last performance of "Tommy".

I used to go see Lightning Hopkins as a local but few even know who he was.

I go out and hear live music weekly. Sometimes twice a week. So I find it really hard to imagine never hearing live music. That sounds so crazy to me.

The Stampeders, around '77 or '78. Lots of fun. The bass player broke a "g" string during his solo, but, it didn't matter because he still pulled off an amazing solo. I still get a kick out of it when guitar players 'break their "g" string'. Lol.
The best concert to date that I have seen was The Trans Siberian Orchestra. Wow! What a show! Great musicians, great stage show. Go see them!
I'm looking forward to seeing Marcus Miller in September. If you're not aimiliar with jazz, he is one of the best bass players on the planet. He is one of my biggest influences. This concert is going to be an epiphany.

A band called Steps, when i was 16! A year later, i went to see them AGAIN. They were quite a cheesy band, but so what? If i feel like listening to happy songs, then i will. Their songs are always upbeat and positive. I used to have a huge crush on the blonde welsh guy in the band. Only to find out ten years later that he was gay. °sigh° lol.

My very first concert was with my mom. I was probably close to 10 years old. We went to see "Tony Orlando and Dawn". :oP~

Then as a teenager, my first concert with friends I saw "Bob Seger".
