So-called "smooth R&B" honks a massive choad, cookie monster death metal is for sh*theads, and that wanky hippie jam band crap makes me want to saw my ears off, crush them into little wads, and stuff them into the bleeding holes in the sides of my heads.

I just can't get into country, although iv tried. Heavy metal I can't listen to, sounds demonic to me. Can not stand music from Asia except for music from India. Everything else, I can pretty much listen to.

anything with alot of vulgarity or outright screaming and few musical NOTES in the vocals,,,,

I don't like the screamo music and it is basically because I love songs with lyrics that I can understand.

although there are individual songs in every category which i don't

I can pretty much listen to anything - as long as it doesn't make my ears bleed.

I say no to Death Metal tho.

pretty much the same - people wh oare truly musical and really genuinely love music can find something positive from nearly all genres - even if a genre is not their favorite or they don't like a certain style or song within a genre

for example I love C&W but not a big fan of the old school crooners - their monotone bores me but I love bluegrass and fusion (new country)

and I love metal but do not like thrash death and have a very limited tolerance for speed - I like mudvayne ozzy & deftones

Oh and primus is not jazz and I prefer the real originals RHCP
