I've got a cd monster ballads has all them pluss poison ,wingers, what about ratt remember them

mdodge66 Cool. I love Poison and Ratt! I listen to lots of awesome music of the 80's on XM radio channel 39 Hair Nation! Love it!! What's the name of that cd with all those great metal ballads? I would like to buy one if it's available. Thanks! :banana:

Hi lady (palimono was way to long to type lol) its called monster ballads I think thiers 2or3cds of them n yes hair nation rules we have that at wrk and every now n then we put it on

Everything from old school metal to new age, Im quite open to music in general. Going to be the drummer in a band a few friends and I are starting, somewhat like Asking Alexandria.

Maiden, Slayer, Corpse, Death, Metallica, Necrophagist, 3IOB, etc. Favourite genre of metal for me is Death Metal. I just love metal in general...Accept, Destruction, **** man, Hypocrisy, Cattle Decapitation, Opeth, Kataklysm, Celtic Frost, Kryptopsy...my favourite band, though, is very different, GNR.

I'm not a huge fan of straight up screamo metal singing, but I do enjoy listening to the hard guitars bass and drums on thier own. When it comes to regular bands I'm a huge fan of skillet and linkin park shades

Hypocrisy

but what about some of the old?
Venom
Mercyful Fate
King Diamond

Then there's 2 of my recent fav's that i met at Mayhem Fest this year like:
Amon Amarth and
Children of Bodom

But I am just a huge fan of all old and new Hard Rock and METAL.
Just saw Texas Hippie Coalition last nite....that was some good ****!
