Well, we didn't just hang out doing regular everyday stuff, but I have had the honor of meeting one of my favorite musicians, talking songwriting with him, and on one occasion, sharing the stage with him for a song. Time from our first face-to-face meeting until the time he let me sing backup for him at a small-venue show: More than 20 years.

I still smile when I think about it. And he's coming to play in my town again next month. happy

His name? Rik Emmett, former guitarist/vocalist for the Canadian rock group Triumph, now solo artist. He's quite talented.
