Absolutely sex is important at any age!! But liking one another first, friendship, relationship should come first.

Sorry to say it, guys, but sooner or later the equipment doesn't work - then what if that's your priority and focus when meeting someone new?

Met a guy this week - he wanted sex right away - then he couldn't perform. He was devastated to find this out, as it had been a while & he thought he was still good to go.

Now, if he had waited to develop a proper friendship with me first then I would still be seeing him. But, he made sex the focus, so............why should I stick around. He shot himself in the foot.

I want a woman to be a life partner... I now do all my own cleaning.. dishes... cooking.. clothing repair.. all of it!
A woman can help with those things when I am fixing the plumbing, installing an additional electrical plug for her, or fixing her car or motorcycle.. its a partnership...
You take her with you when she would like to go to the hardware store.. she is welcome to join you when you meet the guys at the local pub to watch a football game...
She will help you pack your saddle bags for the motorcycle trip you take together to ... where you like to go.. then where she likes to go..
If you don't share your life experiences with her, and have her share hers with you... then your missing what a true relationship is all about.. Love her, and respect her.. show her you care every day with her. Make sure you have her respect by earning it... never sell your integrity because it's like virginity.. once it's gone.. it's gone forever...
If you treat her right... like a queen.. she will treat you like a king... That is all I want.. I want it all..

I think a lot of us are looking for this pancho.
It is indeed quite simple, though sometimes it is hard to find.

Sooner or later you find those that also feel that honesty, truthfulness and respect are important.
I would want it no other way to be honest.
The depth of the man is the most important part for me.
If he can't be honest I can't trust or respect him.
If I can't do that then I can't be myself with him nor he with me.

For me, it's all about companionship. As a senior, most of us have already been married and raised a family, and for one reason or another we now find ourselves single again. Living a comfortable, happy life is great, but lacking someone to share it with is rough. There's always something missing. Finding the right mate at this age can be difficult though, especially for someone as active as I am. I know how I want to spend the rest of my life. Hopefully Mingle2 will be able to help me find the right lady to grow old with.

Really? As I understand some of these posts, it sounds to me like some of you guys would be OK with a woman who is not interested in having sex with you. Is that true? There have been a couple of comments on here about sex being the icing on the cake. Personally, I disagree. I can eat cake without icing and it still tastes pretty good. Icing just makes it better. To me, that would be something like having plenty of money. Even without it, you still have "cake." To me, sex, just like intimacy, is one of the key ingredients, like flour or eggs or milk or sugar. Take away the basic ingredients and the cake just isn't good or it falls apart. I look at sex, intimacy, respect and communication as key ingredients. They all have to blend together to make it work.
