These are beautiful, Crystal! The first paintings make me think of The Shire and elves (Lord of the Rings, and all that). But they really are breathtaking!

Happy, as I got an important thing done: the big tree's got leaves!
And some bushes to the left :)

So pretty!...I loved watching the progression of this piece Crystal...flowerforyou

Thank you, Leigh!
I'm hoping to finish it soon, getting a bit fed up with it.
The tree's got roots now :)

* The Unicorn is for sale as well *

I like the unicorn too, I don't often paint animals, not really my thing, and a horse (okay, unicorn) ain't particularly easy.

Can't continu with the windmill painting, can't rest my arm anywhere no more, so it has to dry first. Got this far:

Not happy with the water though, first time ever I seemed to have scr*wed that up :(
But I'll probably work it out, I always do, one way or another

Not sure if you have ever watched Bob Ross on PBS before or not. He would use a long brush laid across the easel to steady (rest) his hand on. I have used dowel rods, yard sticks and even wooden spoons for the same reason. It's difficult to get into the mood sometimes for me and I find if I stop because something won't work, the painting or drawing never turns out as I saw it to begin with. smile2

Thank you all!

PhD, you may wanna put your glasses on again, I got a new painting.
ALMOST done, needs a bit more work. It's for my daughter, she requested this, quite a challenge, I'm not so into animals/horses, but I must say I'm proud of myself, so far!
Hope I'm not gonna bugger it up when I do the finishing touches! (The bridle needs more work amongst other things)
