Can't continu with the windmill painting, can't rest my arm anywhere no more, so it has to dry first. Got this far:
Not happy with the water though, first time ever I seemed to have scr*wed that up :(
But I'll probably work it out, I always do, one way or another
Not sure if you have ever watched Bob Ross on PBS before or not. He would use a long brush laid across the easel to steady (rest) his hand on. I have used dowel rods, yard sticks and even wooden spoons for the same reason. It's difficult to get into the mood sometimes for me and I find if I stop because something won't work, the painting or drawing never turns out as I saw it to begin with.
