Elvis, Vegas, 1972.
He was overweight, raspy-voiced and absolutely
the most magnificent thing you have ever seen.

After he finished a song, the entire audience,
as ONE, rose to their feet, clapped and whistled
madly, then plummeted back to their seats, silent.

Took me a while to figure out, twas because they
did not want to waste a moment, clapping and
showing appreciation, they wanted the MUSIC.

Unbelievable :-)
