So the update did finally arrive for my car before they closed for the night.
Brake lines are fixed, after several issues, but fixed.
I will be able to stop correctly and safely again!
They were still waiting to hear if any of the three junk yards found a pan for my transmission.
So my car is having a sleepover!
I want a sleepover too!
OH wait, I can't have one until my car is done with hers!

I'm thinking I am grateful to have such a special friend..
