Dang these croutons are extra crunchy! I wonder if the sound of me chewing them is as loud to others sitting by me as it is to me????

Im thinking it is pretty cool to have the kid home for a few days... He has grown in so many ways, I am blessed to be a witness...

Thinking "I wished I wasn't so darned intuitive!"
Okay, I don't mean that, lol, need my intuition, don't wanna fly blind. But an hour ago I was doing the dishes, and I thought of my missing flashlight, that in case of a power outage, I'd have to get my phone and use its flashlight.
We hardly ever have power outages though. Right.. About an hour later .. happily reading my Ebook, BANG! Pitch black!!
Great! You don't get pitch black that easily over here, always some light somewhere. Couldn't see a friggin thing. So I'm thinking "What piece of equipment broke down now??!!"
Found my phone, flashlight on, phew ... Looking to light a candle, suddenly the lights come on again. Phew ...
Then it dawned on me, pitch black means all the power went down, at least in my street, as there's a street light across the street, so it's never pitch black in my home.

But great to be so intuitive. Gotta learn to listen to it and in this case, should've looked for my flashlight, or light candles straight away.
It's not the first time I've had this kind of thing happen to me.
One thing I do know: I do not like pitch black, lol

Crystal, don't think about coming to northern WI, it's a specific county tho....elec out for up to 6 hrs. most of the time. No tree trimming going on as regulated by the Public Service Commissions over here. Too worried about making 2 million a yr in profit. Documented.....kerosine lamps.....and body heat recommended for pioneer womens.
