Franz Liszt - Liebestraum - Love Dream
Used to play this on the piano regularly many years ago, and I've always loved it!
But Rachmaninov stole my heart! It's breathtaking to me!

The Trout - Schubert (I could play it on my brothers pocket casio, lol)
well, I love Bach, he was incredible.
Although I listen modern music too, classical music is the fuel to me.
Every time I dump the 80's song or getting tired of listening vocal music, Bach and Mozart, Elgar are always let me feel tranquil.
Different player really makes those music become diverse.
Glenn Gould is one of my favorite pianist, through his life, he played Bach in many ways.
For cellist, Rostropovich, du pre, tres bien.
Violinsts, I love David Oistrakh, Arthur Grumiaux and Fritz Kreisler.
I love listening to CBC Radio One during the week as they play all kinds of classical music. I enjoy listening to it and just relaxing. Reminds me of being a kid and watching Tom and Jerry or Looney Tunes :) I also enjoy classical and metal music because they are both very much the same. They are both very complex sounding, intense, aggressive, melodic etc. Metal and Classical are first cousins. You'd actually be surprised at the number of classically trained musicians and vocalists in the metal scene.
Might be cliche, but I've always loved Vivaldi...

Don't like classical music much, but i do like classic trance from 15-20 years ago. One of my hobbies is DJing and i've did that since 1989.
Looney tunes are always a classic

op I like classical Metallica playing with San Fransisco symphony orchestra ...
I like a lot of classical... seems to calm me sometimes... other times I just get annoyed by it and change the station ...
what and how would you categorize as "classical" anyway??

A difficult question. I class some of Mike Oldfields stuff as modern classical especially the obvious, Tubular bells!
I had an album by Rick Wakeman namely Rhapsodies and he did a version of the above.quite impressive!
