Only one mask is mine, the black one with all the feathers.

They are made from actual molds of our faces.

We did coaching exercises in class wearing them and then ventured on a forest walk.

It was a pretty interesting experience.

This picture is beside the Cowichan river.

A few days later we took part in a traditional Hul'qumi'num Sweat Lodge ceremony during the full moon.

Honoured to be invited and it was amazing!

If I had any maple syrup I would give ya some!

I get the mask story. So you had to take them off outdoors? That must have been quite the experience!?

This is a copy of Nehalennia's temple, some 34 km from my home. The original dates back to pre-Roman times. People worshiped at Nehalennia's temple during early Roman times. There were 3 temples back then. No one really knows for sure which culture she belonged to. People went there to pray for a safe journey away from home (sailors, often gone for months) and for a safe return home. They offered all kinds of valuable, plaques etc.
Nehalennia is basically the only goddess we've ever had in the Netherlands.

We don't get many storks here, in Marrakech you get to see plenty during winter. They're basically everywhere!

Beautiful Crystal. I love the one with you at the Quranic School, The "Keyhole" one. They are all lovely.

The one with the path to the ocean is a dirt path not ashpalt, it curves into the forest and back to the sea with so many beautiful vantage points. This beach is called Sunset Beach.

We wore the masks out side and took many photos plus did some self coachig exploration work. I don't know what anyone who saw us thought!
