i think 2 pac was the best <shrug>
but Em is a great one as well
2pac was for sure the greatest IMO. biggie maybe had a better flow, but 2pac put so much heart into his music, and he rapped about real life ****. not like the rappers of today that rap about nonsense. I still to this day miss 2pac and feel like he could have been someone who would change the world, as he wasn't just a gangster rapper but actually had a soft side. he cared about equality for everyone and hated police brutality. I listen to his music today and its still relevant to me and I feel it always will be, its a shame he had to be taken away at the age of 25. I feel like once 2pac died, DMX took over as the best, till he fell off. after DMX Eminem IMO is def. the best. EM speaks his mind and isn't afraid told hold back, just like pac, that's why I like Eminem. when it comes to music the thing I enjoy the most about an artist is how real they are, and you can tell Eminem puts a lot of heart into his music. granted I feel Eminem put out a few albums that were less than stellar, but the good ones he did have (which were most of his albums) were amazing. esp. his older albums. I feel like rap generally has went downhill the past 10-15 years. now rap music is all about money, liquor, girls, theres no realness to it anymore. back in the day hip hop/rap music had a meaning behind it. my top 3 in order would be 2pac,DMX,EM. rap music has become so bad nowadays that I started listening to other genres of music. I used to be one of those people that listened to only rap, but with the state of rap music today I learned to appreciate other genres. I have a hard drive with all 2pac, dmx, em, bone thugs n harmony, with all their albums, and that is mainly what I listen to. like I said I do like some other music, but to me nothing compares to older rap hip hop. as long as I have my hard drive with all the albums of those 4 artists im good, and I can listen to only that and be happy.
