Humm can't answer that for my daughter did not date at 15.....Actually she had finished High School before she started dating....

Only advise I can give is make sure she has a way to always contact you if needed. And discuss all about boys and ways to protect herself if ever needed..

As for yourself go out with friends in order to get out and around others...

I have a son not a daughter. I only have to worry about one penis. He likes good girls and athletes so that makes me less worried. He ignores the puck bunnies that come to his games.

My bad just assumed daughter since you did not say..

Humm well my son was and is a good one too but still does not mean he may not come home and say you are going to be a grandmother..Regardless of the ones they hang with not only the bad girls turn up pregnant.

your not soo old Liz.. not by a long shot. Your son is at the age where he understands that you have to have a life too and he is at the age where you do not have to constantly be by him side raising him.

And while you think you have forgotten how to date, it will all come back to you once you get that twinkle in your eye again.

Best of luck

this implies only the girl is responsible for a child which might be conceived.
I hope you have taught your son respect and responsibility.

as for your dating situation, what holds you back? that would be something to consider.

also, you can make friends and meet people until you feel comfortable to actually date.

Wow funny how people read sexism into things.Reality is that is harder on girls then boys if teenage stupidity occurs. But if i was parent of a girlI would be worried about how others raised their sons. I have raised a very respectful boy who is turn off by the "bad girl". He is also respectful and kind to girls. But way to be judgmental

The dating relationships for a 15 year old are drastically different than those of a mature adult. We as adults have more complex feelings and we have experience with interactions.

The area of commonality is that a 15 year old will start out by seeing friends as potential partners. 'Friends first' is perhaps the best description I can give you.

I encourage you to look for friends and build from there. It works.

Never underestimate the wisdom of the child.

even 'good kids' can become teenage parents. I work with them every day.

as for your own dating situation, I wish you all the best
