Thinking about my Grandaddy who, at age 90, passed away last night. It hurts to lose a loved one but I am so thankful for him and the great memories I made with him.

WOW - 90 yrs young; and you got to know him and spend some quality time with him as well --- how wonderful. Not something I got to do with my fathers side of his family; and there's soooo many questions about his childhood that I'd love to have asked.

{{hugs}} and healing prayers from your loss!

SO happy that the garage found something wrong with my car. Yes, happy! Had they found nothing, I would have felt nervous every time I had to use it.
Some sensor about to die on me, so Friday it's going to be replaced. Thank heavens it's not too expensive, with a bit of luck it'll set me back some E70 (approx. $70 as well). Still more than I can afford really, but had it been the EPS, which I thought, it would've been the end of owning a car...

grumble Oh...how that irritates me: I'm early for any place/appointment/job/meeting that I have to be at! {{hugs}} & flowerforyou and prayers that they get their late arses over there ASAP

CrystalFairy - Excellent news about your auto; BTW, how's your dear daughter doing since her wisdom teeth extraction? All better I'm hoping - no residual ill affects? drinker

Debbie - HELL YES - 2 dang hot here too!
I'm still recovering from all the limbs I chain sawed down over the weekend --- still haven't worked on that huge pile of limbs yet either!

At least I can get my laundry done. Now that I've got rid of the flood water. Hope it never happens again. That's how unpredictable life truly is. You really DON'T know what's going to happen next.

UGH...I really dislike flood water clean up; but I had a question...don't the rental place {UBC universal building code} insist that there be a metal pan under your washer & water heater?

Not that those little 4" deep pans will contain all of that water but it sure slows down the amount of area that it spreads into before some one finds the problem?

Debbie - I know what you mean; I've found some really 'CREEPY' - Ghastly profiles; now if they're age - distance has managed to get through my FILTERS I just delete them straight off! scared ill
