From women teachers to this incident...has this always been an issue among those young male students but they kept quiet or is this just something gone array since about 15 yrs back?

Im on a local forum and there is hardly a month that goes by w/o one of these types of articles posted.....and its mainly just my state stuff. 90% of the time its a female teacher also. Maybe it happened in my high school days also....I do remember a rumor in my high school about a student and the choir teacher.
Maybe its exposed more now because of the availability of computers, smart phones, social media, etc......Idk, but it sure SEEMS more prevalent.

I remember a young handsome music intern my Jr. year; he really WOWED my peer group and he fell in love with a Sr. {her sister was my BFF}...they started dating that spring prior to her graduation and it was all kept very 'HUSH-HUSH'. He could have been discharged - lost his teaching credentials - not been allowed to get his final degree in Master Music...{circa 1971}
They're still married and happily-ever after...but it was precarious for both of them!

But these 'COUGARS' are 20+ years older then those barely teenage boys...UGH

This is probably the most reported case here in LA in awhile.....

Dufresne, the former Destrehan High
School teacher accused of having sex
with one of her students, pleaded guilty
Thursday to obscenity, admitting that
she engaged in a sexual relationship
with a 16-year-old boy.
Dufresne avoids a three-year prison
sentence with her plea, but will be
required to undergo a 90-day inpatient
mental health treatment in lieu of a 90-
day parish prison sentence.
The 16-year-old’s parents were in court
for the hearing Thursday and expressed
their approval of the resolution in the
case.
As part of the plea agreement, Dufresne
will surrender her teaching license and
cannot have any contact with the victim
or his family.
The carnal knowledge of a juvenile
charge will be held open until she
completes the terms of her probation on
the obscenity charge. Afterward,
prosecutors will dismiss the carnal
knowledge charge, according to the plea
deal.
Dufresne, 32, is married with several
children.
In a separate incident involving the
same 16-year-old student, Dufresne and
another Destrehan High School teacher,
Rachel Respess, are accused of having a
sexual relationship with the victim at
Respass’ Jefferson Parish apartment.
Both are charged with carnal knowledge
of a juvenile and contributing to the
delinquency of a juvenile in Kenner,
Louisiana.
Respass’ attorney has said that his
client has denied all wrongdoing.
Authorities in St. Charles Parish became
aware of the incident after the victim
allegedly bragged to classmates about

If I remember correctly, the student had video of a both teachers giving him an "oral exam"....which he shared.

OMG---2 women teachers --- SWEET JESUS; now I'm thinking that 'SALT PETER' needs to be placed in the water fountain/slipped into the coffee pot --- something!

What in tarnation is 4th degree rape? Did she fail to climax, did he...? Statutory or indecent liberties I could see but I don't believe that a judge or any jury selected anywhere there are cheerleaders could prove that she sisboombah'd him against his will. Impossible.
I think this has gone on everywhere but people and governments have stopped trying to bury the cases because the claims of criminals suicides and victims who later went on to sue for very large sums of money make the embarrassment the better financial decision in the long run. Cities towns States, etc also no longer identify with the teachers coaches etc because they know that they are easily replaced and they want to send the message that they don't condone or allow this particular type of relationship. It happened in my school with more than one staff member and as much as it was talked about among classmates the only consequence I know of weren't legal in nature. No pun intended. Last I heard it was legal in Alaska to marry at the age of 14, unless the rest of the country adopts this I think this will continue to be an issue.

Men go for the immediate.
Women go for the long term, preferring to build the relationship.

In law enforcement, they need results for their budgets.

That means they need the Chris Hanson thing of talking to someone online, and within a few minutes hours or days show up at some strange girls house.

Not much in the budget to pay someone to sit online for months or a year trying to build up a complex pseudo relationship for each woman, then lure them in to get busted.

But plenty in the budget to pay for one girl (or boy) to sit online and talk to hundreds of guys, cutting and pasting simple answers, offering immediate gratification to get 5 to show up per week.


It's always been an issue.
But the way the system works now, it under reports women and makes it seem far more rare than it is.

When men get caught it's usually because of numbers. Doing so many different kids, eventually you're going to get caught.
When women get caught, it's usually because of carelessness, of having so much relationship crap like love letters, or text messages, evidence of an inappropriate relationship.

I don't know.
Which do you see worse?
One guy molesting 200 kids?
Or a woman in a continuing relationship with one or a couple of kids for years?
A one time event with a ton of kids?
Or a lasting event over the course of the kids development?


People are just presented with it being rare for women.
So they react more negatively.
Guys? They're dogs, it figures, it's more common, so just send em away and forget about it, throw away the key, just saw 10 guys sent off by Hanson last week.
But women?!?! WTF are these women thinking...why why why! WTH is going on within those 'Lesser Thinking Women's MINDS!

IN MY OWN BACKYARD - my county seat, middle school {population 4,500} and this --- this 'WOMAN' does this to 3 minors!!!

Guess, I'm going to be continually flummoxed by the insane urges of humans that will willfully do this to minor children and THINK THAT THEY'LL GET AWAY WITH IT

Oh, most certainly they do...but as with all these cases that I've been reading {trying to understand the mindset of these adults}...the #1 primary thing these predators have in common = 'I Am Not Guilty And Those Kids LIE'; and the number of SnapChat/emails/twitter posts were just too many to deny!
