I cant believe this thread is still going... This might even last longer than Bill...

I have some experience with people in the latter years of their life...you can always tell those who lived a life of integrity..they are never ashamed of the decisions they've made, whether it was right or wrong during the time, they always know they did it for good reasons and never refrain from speaking up about it and defending the choices they had to go thru...

People know. People remember. We may not remember all the specific details, but we remember why we did what we did and we know if we have done others wrong.

It's a shame to reach that stage in life only to have people from the past haunt you for the wrongs that happened. But its more of a shame when you can't answer to them or to your own conscience about the things that happened and try to run from it instead...because in the end, you can't.

I cant remember where I went on dates from twenty years ago and Im only in my forties

my mom is in her seventies and cant remember where she and her friends went to lunch a month ago

there is no running involved, just the natural deterioration of memory,, which can often start LONG before nearly 80

Read the thread back further.
He does have to appear in court on rape allegations , in October, for the one that was 15 yrs old. No statue of limitations, if it was a minor.

And he attacked MANY minors.
Each state that the crimes occurred in can & will probably charge him formally. With or without the victim. It is the states right to do so.
His crimes (ADMITTED & his unadmitted crimes) are crimes against the state.

For starters he could come out and say these allegations are untrue.. all of them. But he doesn't because he can't

I made a comment about people defending what they did or didnt do in the lifetime that they have led.

It is a shame if someone would have to run from or silence their conscience at the stage of life that Bill is in. In general, people want to live out their latter years in peace. But everyone has a past. Its hypocrisy to say that you are devoid of guilt. But the fact remains, whether you did right or wrong, whether you did something or not, we know why we did what we did--we know our intentions--innocent, malicious or otherwise. We know whether we did something out of necessity/survival or out of cruelty/personal amusement.

You don't have to be so defensive and in your roundabout way, keep portraying Bill Cosby as if he is the innocent, unsuspecting victim, and assume that everyone is out to get him for their 5min of fame or whatever other purpose, especially not at this point in his life. The simple fact is, he has a checkered past, and its catching up with him. He has had a lifetime of experience in a profession that is prone to controversy. He knows what he did and didnt do. This issue is just the continuation or the unfolding of that.

The issue isn't just about a husband cheating.
His wife was willing to overlook the cheating for whatever reasons. That is already enough said about that.

The issue is more than just a husband cheating multiple times. But that in itself already speaks volumes.
Now his cheating ways (and partners) are catching up to him. And they did not like how he handled them, thats for sure...

the one I read, with mostly the ATTORNEYS quibbling back and forth, included him admitting that he got drugs to give women



nothing about them being 'unwilling',,,,but Im open to seeing such words from his mouth,,,,in a transcript,,,

the public has condemned him, they had innocent til proven guilty for Darren wilson, and witness after witness was scrutinized


but with Mr Cosby, its just 'look how many say its true',, and therefore its true,,

because their claims have no PROOF

Date rape is different from outright rape. He was smart and picked his victims that he knew, the least likely to report the rape. Especially after drinks and drugs, they didn't know what happened. Well, at least some have come forward, we'll never know how many victims he had.

No, we never will know. I think most of the woman he raped can't come forward at this time due to their life standing. So they remain silent. Hopefully getting some satisfaction on of what the others are accomplishing, which is to finally have Dr. rape unmasked and ruined.
