If it seemed like those insufferably cute yellow Minions were everywhere this summer, you weren't imagining things.
On August 2 around 3 p.m. BST, a giant inflatable shaped like a Minion came loose from its restraints and blew into traffic in the Santry area of north Dublin.
A witness managed to capture a photo of the balloon being inflated, before the banana yellow creature went on his wind-charged, road rampage. Minions just can't seem to stay out of trouble.

"Im not sure how it got loose but I just saw it coming loose and flying across the road as we were driving, said witness Erin Van Londen to The Journal. Van Londen also noted that the Minion was between 30 and 40 feet high.
The police caught up with the inflatable while it was bouncing his way down Old Swords Road and were able to let its air out. According to The Journal, there were no injuries, but one driver did get his side mirror knocked off.
