Thursday night on FOX the top 9 Republican candidates will debate. The 7 candidates left over will have an earlier debate, which means for the most part they will be ignored or not taken as serious candidates for Presidency and will lose the 'spolight moment' to respond to arguments made by the 9 in the primetime debate. As debates are often moderated based on hot current issues, the 7 candidates bringing up the rear in the polls will be arguing against opponents that have not dropped their bombs yet. Oh yeah, that guy with the rug is in the primetime debate too. Besides the fact that the candidates who didn't do as well in the polls are effectively locked out of contention, there's also a bit of an issue with a debate with 10 participants. Time. Each candidates opportunity to respond to the moderators and their opponents will be reduced greatly. You don't get specifics, you don't get details, you don't get to rebut all the hooey with real answers. Vote for me I look great everybody loves me and I'd support shutting down the government AGAIN in September.

A surprise came on the Democratic side in the
race for Mississippi Governor.
Robert Gray, a retired firefighter and truck
driver, is the democratic nominee who admitted
to the Associated Press that he didn't even
vote in Tuesday's election.
"I was in Jackson and had to do a lot of stuff
and just lost track of time, to tell you the
truth," said Gray, who was in south Mississippi
by election night.
With 99% of the vote counted, Gray pulled
51%, narrowly avoiding a runoff with Vicki
Slater, who was backed by party leaders.
Gray said he made only a few campaign
appearances and was at a loss to explain his
strong showing. He said some might have
voted for him because he has a common name.
"They didn't know me from anybody else,"
Gray said of Democratic primary voters.
He said his campaign was not backed by any
big-name politician or group.
He will face incumbent Phil Bryant and Reform
candidate Shawn O'Hara in the November

it's still media bias, no matter what anyone might think of any candidate... people should still have the right to make up their own minds, without the media's intervention... i'm not a donald fan, but it is pretty obvious what they are doing...

They (FOX NEWS aka Not Democratic News) are biased. They specifically chose their panel of mediators, the rules of the debate including the timing for response/rebuttal and the overall number of participants, and scripted all the questions ]Expressly for the purpose of portraying trump in a negative light[.

People should have the right to make up their own minds without the media's intervention. Would that be such as VOLUNTARILY making ones self available to the media for primetime interviews repetitively? Or maybe appearing on a popular daytime talk show VOLUNTARILY? Or maybe jumping into the spotlight in a tragic murder case that he had latched on to SHAMELESSLY for personal gain? Or using your own Twitter account to tweet whatever you want to say whenever you want to say it at anytime?

It wasn't a debate, it was a complete hit job against Donald Trump from the opening question.

The whole thing was set up to promote the RNC's chosen candidate Jeb Bush.

The RNC has not yet chosen a candidate or eliminated any others.

I did see a debate. I wanted to ask this question too. IF it was a setup which there is nothing to suggest as other participants were all asked the first question en masse, and all candidates were asked questions about their own past, why would they even let trump run as a republican?

The RNC can not choose or endorse a candidate until after the convention. They CAN sure put their resources into getting their preferred candidate on the ballot.

That whole debate was a sham. Kasich had no business being up there (he just announced a week prior and ran lower then Governor Perry in the polls) but since the debate was in Ohio where he was a Governor they let him in and Chris Cristie who is at the bottom of almost all the polls, they let him in because he is the only one with enough balls to confront Donald Trump.

It depends on who the Republicans put up as their candidate that will decide if Clinton will win, not a 3rd party run by Donald Trump. I know if Rand Paul or Carly F. Or Marco Rubio get the nomination many die hard Republicans will be voting another party either Independent or Democrat.

i noticed that as well... fox really dropped the ball on that one... they ask jeb questions like "if elected, would you create more jobs?" and ask donald questions like "why do you hate women?"

They did ask Jeb about jobs, not directly but job creation and the budget were worked into his answers in a relevant manner. Christie and Kasich did as well. They didn't want trump. Trump wanted trump. Nobody from the republican party went to trump and begged him to run for president or even ask him to campaign or verbally endorse any candidates. He woke up one day looked in the mirror and said ' you look magnificent, how could anybody not make you the next President, your gorgeous, fantastic. Everybody's gonna love you '.
Then a woman in San Francisco got murdered.
For all intents and purposes Christie and Kasich 'won' that debate. They proved that they belonged there and should be taken seriously. Carson stumbled at times attributable to nerves but ended well. Jeb,... He was there. Not much memorable except the policy changes and positive outcomes they brought about. That was one question. What do you expect when he speaks for a total under 10 minutes in an hour long debate? I didn't count the amount of rebuttals but there weren't a lot of them exchanged. If anybody lost this debate it was Paul Trump and Rubio and the republican voters.

That wasn't the question. Many of the hateful things he has said to women were quoted then Megan asked him why he said such hateful/or hurtful things to women. He interrupted her before she finished the question with the "Only Rosie O'Donnell" remark diversion. He does this any time he's asked a serious question about something he has done.
Again it's not what FOX NEWS wanted, its what you wanted. He was the front runner and the way primary debates work when there are more than 4 candidates is the front runner gets the most questions and the most time to speak. There were even live questions from facebook. 53% of voters are women and Jeb was definitely asked about his slip up saying women's health issues didn't need $500M. Immigration reform and tax reforms were also asked and had trump actually prepared for the debate instead of being in Scotland for 3-5 days he might have done, never mind he still would have screwed it up because everybody loves him he got a fantastic and everything is great except for losers like John McCain other POW's and Rosie O'Donnell.

Oh I forgot the suicide by not being affiliated or registered in the party whose primary you're in and not willing to support.
