Topic: TV anchor leaves set over "Kardashian" story...

A Good Day Orlando anchor decided he couldn't stand to talk about the Kardashians any longer and walked off the set of a live broadcast on Friday, when faced with reporting that Kylie Jenner has a new rabbit named "Bruce."

"I am having a good Friday, so I refuse to talk about the Kardashians today," said news anchor John Brown. You are on your own, Amy. I can't do it."

He walked off of the set and said, "I’ve had enough Kardashians. I can’t take any more Kardashian stories on this show."

A replacement anchor came in and the trio left on camera and tried to talk Brown down from his rant, as he left his microphone on and shouted from off-camera. "I don't care about this family. I’m sick of this family. It’s a non-story!"

His coworkers laughed as he continued. "We’re talking about the family every freakin’ day on this show. Nobody cares about this family anymore! I've had enough."

Brown posted his rant on Facebook, and said, "Sorry I lost my mind a bit, although it was partially in jest!"

"I did feel better though after I was done though."

So the "Adams family" got a rabbit.. and that makes the 6 o'clock news... unbelievable.

Maybe she thought it would be cute.. naming a rodent after her father.. should have got a pet rock instead.

Kudos to the reporter for having some ethical standards. The whole reality genre has played itself out. I DON'T CARE if some non-celebrity broke a nail, had sex with a rapper, or just ate a Cheeto and has run to the toilet to purge herself.

I never understood the allure of spending endless hours watching other families live their lives instead of you living yours. Man, talk about get a life!

Same as the 'selfies' posted billions of times a day by people begging for acceptance and positive reinforcement. Your self worth should NOT be measured by whether or not a guy from Peru clicks 'Like' for you.

We have become so detached from the skills required to socialize on a personal 'real world' level, that I have seen people vapor lock on trying to answer the simple "So how's it going?" from the coffee shop employee making your non-fat, half caf/half decaf, low foam, soya milk, nuclear free, dolphin safe, frappamochaalpacino.

Get you collective heads out of the internets a**, and try to do something with your life while you are here. Counting yourself as having achieved the illustrious title of 'ongoing member of the human race' isn't quite the big deal you may think it is......

Could be. But someone in her "camp" leaked the big news. They can't stand to be out of the news for more then a day.

Breaking News..... News anchor breaks new news of non news as not news. News anchors anger of non news not being news is new but not news. It is unknown at this time if the audio engineer pursued the anchor as the cameraman was focused on the non news and not the newer non news. We will not be tracking developments in this case as it is not news and everyone who watched heard or read this 'story' is dumber for having done so.

But the Kardashian's?
A newscaster who gets to select the news?
Talking heads don't get a say in that.
He probably needed the day off to catch reruns.
