According to CNN'S Sara Sidner who was interviewing the interim police Cheif at the time there were 3 separate shootings including one in the neighborhood where Brown was killed. This teen DID have a gun (which is stupid) and they were able to end the threat without killing him. The cops must have been liberals.

Correction, he allegedly had a gun, the police have not made a statement yet but the teen is facing charges IF he survives.

Internet issues ....my bad. I could read the story but not view the video. The story doesnt mention cops firing 60 times. Is that what youre implying? No flame, honest question.

I watched this twice... smmdh.

It looks like people walking down the street, in a business district & then they react startled.

Not once, do I see a gun.
Not once do they say, cops fireing.
There are no cops at the sceen , or cop cars, vans etc....

They only say, how many shots & the time span. And they say " TWO GROUPS FIRING'"

It seems like really bad reporting & filming... almost like a 1970-1980 movie.

There is not one media release stating that cops fired 60 times.

The PERPETRATOR fired several shots, & that is a fact. This was NOT some innocent shot by a fireing squadron in the streets.

The alleged gunman, 18-year-old Tyrone Harris of St. Louis, is hospitalized in critical condition and in police custody. The St. Louis County Police Department said officers shot the teenager after he unleashed a "remarkable amount of gunfire" at police -- a characterization the man's aunt contends is not true.

Prosecutors have charged Harris with four counts of first-degree assault on law enforcement, five counts of armed criminal action and one count of discharging a firearm at a motor vehicle, St. Louis County Police Department spokesman Sgt. Brian Schellman said.

Belmar said earlier that Harris used a stolen handgun to fire at officers.

Harris is being held on a $250,000 bond, Schellman said.

A state of emergency has been declared and the Chief of Police has just been given control of the city until the unrest calms down.

I don't get it, they put down the treat of a dangerous CRIMINAL THUG a year ago. Get over it people, the ones out there now don't care about the cause they care about the sense of power it gives them or are criminals trying to use that as a cover.

It was a damn public service killing. The officer should have been given a god damn medal of honor, not had his career ruined!

Their city councilman asked the federal government for MORE money, approx July 17-27th. Because of the last destruction. Didn't look like they were going to get it.
