I don't get hit by scammers just men who ask for sex, sexual online encounters, and telling me how sexy I am. Truth be told? It is annoying, disrespectful, and all the way around a huge turn off. I may be 'sexy' (a completely subjective quantification), but I am college educated, sweet, moral, and generally well read, health but and I am also guarding the most precious two boys any other could have. My sons have special needs and they will always come first...I just want to meet people after a long draining marriage (two years single)...I don't want to have random sex, waste a lot of time in ignorant suppositions, or comments that tell me they aren't reading my profile (which at the moment is very blunt and to the point)

I have noticed the same issue but of course with females. I agree. Many people in general go as far as the pictures and make a decision and some are foreign scammers. They cant completely interpret what is written but attempt to con anyway. Thats not to speak ill of any foreigners on here. I have made some very nice pen pals over the last two years and would love some more. Back to the profile issue though. I have changed mine a few times to test theories of my own and as we can all imagine only the people worth talking to are gonna actually take the time to read it. Which is just fine right? Happy hunting everyone, best of luck in what youre searching for.

I believe there's a setting where you can weed out people like that. It keeps them from sending you messages unless you have sent them a message or otherwise indicated an interest in them.
A moderator or somebody can probably point you to the right settings better than I can.

But I have proof that some ladies don't really read profiles, either.
And that's all I'm gonna say about that.

I think some do, but sometimes they ignore some of the facts; hoping to maybe change your mind about some of your beliefs or lifestyle.

Scammers have ego's too which I see flare up pretty quick when confronted to be a scammer right off the bat. If I do err and the guy is genuine, well that should be a first test in its own right! However im always ready for a good laugh so bring it on Scammies @smiles
