My daughter is celebrating her birthday today, since it is the weekend.

* I have two grown children in another state *

While talking to her on the phone, & while she is making a list of last minute food, I asked her " What time is your brother & his wife coming ? "She replies, " Well, his wife is definitely coming. So I asked " Is he working overtime again?" She seems evasive & says " Well he is building a fence " , I asked " What for, he hasn't moved to the new house (in another state) yet... has he ?". She says "Mom... it is for his goats". I was shocked, I said, what goats? Where are these goats? Where is the fence going? She hisses & says " Mom, I don't know, I am just trying to be supportive "

I stopped questioning her... & I am just not going to question my daughter in law. They are all sticking together.

But...

He can't come to party, till later.
Because he needs a fence.
Because of goats!
Does he have the goats now?
Where are the goats?
What state are these goats in?
How many goats are there ?
Did they reek havoc?
Are the goats loose...in the one bedroom apartment?

I just can't stop laughing..
