Ms Kim Davis, who was held in an Kentucky jail for 5 days... for refuseing to issue a same-sex marriage certificate, because she is an Apostolic Christian, & believes in Freedom of religion as an American; has been released. :angel:

Well, you are certainly not alone in your suspicions. Many Infidels, Heathens, Atheists, Agnostics & Non Americans / Non Constitionalists are.

Probably because they, tend to hold Christians to a higher standard or have no idea about Judeo - Christianity & expect Christians to sit down & shut up. Hhhaaaa. laugh

But fear not, they are the least likely to kill you, shun you or throw you from a cliff/building for homosexual behavior... like the other 3-4 major religions of the world (that will do at least one of those slaphead )

Most Christians (& there are MANY secs) , will just shake their head at you , walk away & pray that Satan looses his grip on you.

I am suppose to a be Christians. Because my parent are and well my cousin is a Jewish.And one aunt was a Catholic. Well to a be honest with you on here my opinion whole thing. I would never throw my religiousness belief down somebody throat or say your going to a hell for believing this or that. I have person that I know personally he is homosexual and well he does my hair.If he want to a get married to a man I am fine with it. But I would not shove my belief down his throat. You have Jehovah's Witnesses coming to your door and shoving their down your throat. I do not like them because it is hard to say will please leave. I am not interesting in it.It would be liked me saying to a my cousin that she should not married her husband because he is Jewish and not Christian. Yes she convert to being Jewish. I still would care about her. Beside it is just license it not ceremony.

Yep, stereotypes are so annoying in so many ways
I don't think refusing to do paperwork, constitutes " shoving down people's throat "... Unless you meant it in a general way, from your own experience or a stereotype... like door knockers... laugh ?
Or you assume that disapproval, or considering it a sin or abomination = hate or fear. ? noway

I seen an article the other day, that really annoyed me. It referred to this clerk as " Evangelical ". But at the end of the article ,iI said " Conservative Christians ". Which are two different types. I don't think this lady is either.
Not all Christians Evangelize. Not all are Conservative. Most will not recruit. Few are under the Pope... etc..

I was shocked, reading that.. And realized it was the writers opinion. But, I then realized, it is all ignorance & intolerance of Christians... that they are being all lumped together.

A convenience... to stereotype people who disagree with you.grumble

It is certainly similar to people who think all Muslims are Islamic Terrorist.
And not knowing how many types there are. slaphead Or assuming all Jews are Orthodox. slaphead

I wish she would have just stepped aside and let someone else do her job ... being she is a public servant should not have any bearing on any kind of religion and denying services to anyone ... this was not the time for her to say she would not do this becouse of her faith ... people like that should never be in positions they have issues with and try and dominate their views on anyone and try an control their position ... which in her case she broke the law...

ok msharmony I understand your point but she works for the state as far as I know and with her came the new law ... so neither here nor there ... she did not follow the law of what she was required to do with her job... or there would have been no arrest ... I see it more that she broke the law ...not what really her agenda is ... by doing that ... and a personal decision she made on her own ... not the work places fault ... that to me is like a unruly employee ...

since that part of the constitution is there for a reason, I feel this law falls into a very slippery slope where that needs to be accomodated so as to not be a violation

What bother me? I have personal experience with Jehovah's Witnesses. I stood on are front porch hours hearing about there beliefs for period I was getting hungry as I listen to a go on and on about there belief. Then well I wonder to a myself if there is a escape from them. And well I had personal matter I had deal with at time too. One would be I would be care for elderly grandmother and she would be wondering where I was. But of course she knew I was caught by them and was tried to figure out away polite excuse myself to a get away.I do not believe that all Muslim are Terrorist. Liked I work with a girl that is Indian and yeah she wear thing on her head. We talk but it is never mass destroy or anything but about sale she might going too liked Macy.She likes to a going shopping.Some men think she is a terrorist but she is not. She never been Iran before so I have my doubt she is a terrorist.
