The last time I went to the garden centre to buy plants I came back with a Giant tortoise, like they have on Galapogos islands.

Obviously he's not real, he's made of a kind of tough plastic.
He sits proudly in the middle of the garden.
I named him George.

They also had life size black and white cows, I was tempted to get on of them too, but I never

I like planting vegetables....just planted a few fall tomato plants this past weekend and am now waiting on a small cool front to pass through so I can get some turnip and collard greens in the ground.
Still have a ton of banana peppers putting out also.

My youngest son and I tried growing a Tiny Tim Tomato and an Ox Heart Tomato. The plants are doing ok but the tomatoes took forever to ripen.

Neat, I agree the garden statues and figurines are pretty tempting.

I love houseplants! Nothing to me , brightens up a home then a mass of plants. My favorite is a grape ivy that I have hanging in my kitchen if I don't trim it about twice a year it would hang down to the floor and I just started it with 3 little starts , next in line is a pothos it gets a little crazy also , at one time I had 21 houseplants growing but some didn't grow so well or I didn't care for them now I have just 9 , and I love them all

Anyone else in Northern hemisphere enjoying bright colors from their Christmas cactus .I have 3 different colors .1 starts flowering as early at Halloween the other 2 closer to Thanksgiving and now all 3 around Christmas. A little water and deadheading and they show beautifully.Nice to have a bit of color indoors during the rainy season

The only houseplant that I have is a Ficus given to me about twenty years ago. I sometimes think that I might like a few more but I've never acted on it.

Cacti - all:
50% sharp river sand, not too coarse.
50% cheap-ish potting mix.
Buttons don't like full sun.

Right now a Indian River pomegranate, and Lemon Drop mangosteen are it for the indoor/outdoor plants. I do want more, but the focus has been on garden seeds.

I've always had plants, but during our recovery phase of the lockdown, my friend introduced me to plant swap groups & the number of plants I have have since doubled. I got interested to learn plant names & all that.
