understood
and though the definition of Capitalism is clear, like most forms of government, there doesn't really exist a pure form of it
so the non pure form of Capitalism,, one that truly established most of its OWNERSHIP by allowing private owners to oppress and take advantage of the labor of others,,,,,wasn't really initially instigated in any way to advance or 'work' for minorities,,,
even though , after hundreds of years of labor and time invested in the society , those minorities were permitted to join AT THE BOTTOM and 'compete' with everyone else,,,,
I would add, with such a shaky foundation, our 'capitalism' is actually in place to keep those who established that power and ownership off the labors of others to MAINTAIN it while keeping the laborers divided and at each others throats so they can also 'MAINTAIN' their place
which, primarily as the laborers in Americas history, doesn't bode greatly for blacks(or women or native americans), except for those who understand there is a requirement to be 'better than' just to be seen as 'equal' enough to be shown basic dignity or respect or consideration,, let alone to develop 'ownership' ,,,,,
Well said, Comrade.
Much better than "they be keepin da man down" or "Burn this b!tch down"
thanks, I guess
lol, not that I would ever advocate arson, and technically its 'da man' that keeps others down,, lol
there is no "da man", people keep themselves down by not trying...
