He got his start in the late 1950,s, simple and sucessfull till fame ate him up...and he ate too lol....too...oblivion and demise , combined from sucess ,,,fame fortune food and drugs..

I think, when you literally have it 'all'..all becomes
ordinary and you forever search for that bigger high in life.

Seen it so many tomes with the rich and famous.
It will never happen to them.
So many.

I saw him live in Vegas in 1972, past his prime, overweight,
blowsy-looking...and he had every bit of magic he ever had.
So sad :-(

Reminds me of this ep of Strike Back where a North-Korean ask them "How are the Beatles doing?"
And instead of explaining (they were a bit in a hurry) Scott said "They're great! I can't wait for their new Christmas album to come out" :laughing:
