Increased alerts, security presence & searches at checkpoints, state borders, terminals (land: bus & rail) sea & air, stadiums, municipal & military, religious institutions, historical sites, bridges, tunnels, etc., in place in virtually all major USA cities (Especially East Coast) & some entire states.
By police (including mounted & canine), Dept of Home Land Security, Port Authority, etc..
