The Ohio Baker Who Posted ‘Politically Incorrect’ Sign on Stores Explains Why He Did So

The signs quickly gained attention from local media and Fox News.

In an interview with The Daily Signal, Schuler said he posted the signs “out of frustration with what I see in society.”

Schuler said he was frustrated by “a lack of support for our troops and police officers, and a lack of reverence for God in society.”

He decided that due to his belief in “freedom of expression, freedom of religion and freedom of speech,” he wanted his customers to know that he won’t “toe the party line.”

He discussed the signs with his staff prior to hanging them. Some raised concerns that customers might be “offended.”

“It was not my intention to anger or offend anyone,” Schuler said. “I’m just exercising my right to express my opinions.”

Schuler called the response “overwhelmingly positive,” adding that he’s received calls of support from as far away as Hawaii and South Africa.

“This just goes to show there are a lot of people who feel way. .

I have seen the sign. Good for him. It is his belief and he is entitled to it

It is nice to read someone in the news who is in touch with reality..

i had a woman get upset because i held a door open for her... so i let it go right before she went through it...she was even less happy then...

I am offended that they get offended

wasn't that long ago that those ideals were commonly held in this country


now it seems like we have to watch every step we make in case if offends somebody ...somewhere

anti-government
anti-American

He is Jewish. He got the idea because his cashier said Merry Christmas to a customer. And the customer claimed he was offended & that she should of said ' happy holidays '

His point is, if he has Chanaka & is not offended by ' Merry Christmas ', then why should anyone else be.

His profits did not go up. And he is not turning anyone away.

He doesn't care who is offended.
That is why there is a sign.
He is saying...more or less..
" I am not, we are not, going to kiss your a@@ to make you feel better about yourself, so keep your hyper sensativity & microagression outside "
