Rand Paul said some nice things, but too many of these people are going off on a mythological claim that the present administration has done NOTHING WHATSOEVER to oppose ISIS and terrorism in general.

There's no such thing as building a true and logical better way to lead the country, if you insist on starting from a foundation of political myth.

If they would say that Obama's foreign policies have been poor quality, or wrong-headed, or otherwise in need of improvement, I would support them.

But claiming that NOTHING has been done, is an insult to the thousands of Americans who are daily working as part of the current administration, to do all sorts of things to try to make things better.

It's as bad as the people who are pretending that when Putin had bombs dropped in Syria, that somehow that was a fabulous demonstration of Russian superior leadership, even though Obama had done that times a hundred already, using better bombs and a more capable military.

Please. DO lead us in a better direction. But for the sake of reality, you damn well better start from where we ACTUALLY are now, and stop pretending that we're somewhere else.

For goodness sake. They even tried to blame the local Los Angeles school systems decision to close for a day, on Obama! Carefully ignoring the fact that New York did the opposite, and Obama is just as much President in new York as in California.

And, of course, that schools aren't under Federal jurisdiction. As Republicans USED to know well, and support.

Hmm....well there are 14 dead in San Bernardino a little over two weeks ago.....And he stated ISIS was contained right before 130 were slaughtered in Paris....so, "WHATSOEVER" he HAS done...it's, evidently, not enough.

As for the events in CA today...maybe if Obama HAD done a better job, there wouldnt have been any bomb threat, fake or not, to play on our fears.

No matter...Obama is gone in a little more than a year. And maybe we get Hillary....and get more of the last 7 years....and an extension of that ISIS threat here on our own soil. That's a FRUSTRATION I don't want. Good luck in YOUR frustration at a simple debate....I CAN help with that though....change the channel

You are clearly of the thinking that ANYTHING bad that happens is directly due to Obama personally seeing to it that our people are prevented from action. That's a delusion that you have to ignore facts to maintain, and I see that you've done so.

Not going to argue with someone who doesn't read or think for themselves, but I will point out that you also are insulting our military for "doing nothing" despite their sacrifices. And you ignore that San Bernadino wasn't an ISIS operation or attack, it was a self-deluded pair who decided on their own to do as they did. Just as a number of other people have done over the many years we have had to deal with these dangers, in a series of Republican as well as Democratic administrations.

Sticking your own head in the sand will make you popular with the GOP, but just as their bombast wont do anything to defend us, your prejudice wont either.
