OLD PAINTING.

Found my old art portfolio. I had really forgotten about it , until I cleared my store recently.
Painted this in Water Colour. Now I paint using Acrylic.

When you lose what you love .
Remember to stay strong.

SIngapore consists of 63 islands including the main island..Pulau Ubin is one of the islands, situated
in the North-Eastern coast of Singapore.
The island is still of Kampung style. ( village). Most houses are wooden and on stilts. The rustic village
atmosphere makes it an ideal gateway for most Singaporeans.

I love all your paintings. This one reminds of the Philippines.
Many houses in the provinces were built like this.

Most houses in Asia are built this way. I love the rustic and laid- back atmosphere here. There are about 100 houses like this left in the island, I think. Most of the inhabitants have move to the main island.
I can spend my time in this little island, painting and forget the time, miss my ferry home........ laugh

Thought to find skyscrapers, mad traffic and a lots of people here .. however .. found a lot of colourful, cozy homes .. old buildings ..
some of them look lonely ..
where would be nice to live and find happiness.

Thank you for dropping by. Living in Singapore.... Skyscrapers, traffic jam., people everywhere. I love the quietness of countryside.

Whenever I see an old empty house, I can just imagine, how, once upon a time, a family live there . Laughter, tears. Love.....

I LOVE your work Eva... very painterly, yet detailed exactly where they should be.. I love your light-play, and your depth of field is well thought out on painting where it should be, and all.... All of them set a mood that allows you to study them, and see emotion and something new, and or different thoughts for how each person reacts to the painting... all have their charm, and I've found different things I like about each one....

It's also nice that your paintings are "moving" with reflection and or lights, or people walking. It gives more dimension to the over-all piece... keep up the great work! drinker
