I have to wonder why

I am stuck buying something that has 3 to 5 layers of packaging, Some I have to practically take a hack saw to open and is not recycle able. And instructions in two to six languages in print so small you need a magnifier to read. And virtually every product you buy has a barcode but you can't find out where it is manufactured or where you can send it to be repaired or recycled.

Why so much over information; do I need a catalog of every doctor of every pharmacy over the entire state maybe nation? Not like I am going to carry it around all the time when I travel. Or phone books of thousands of business I will never call? Why do I have to be responsible for throwing away of hundreds of paper advertisements of products I have no interest in receiving simple because I have and address but can not get my name deleted from mail lists. Someone is selling my address with out my permission or giving me a cut.

Why can I not take my own standard size drink container into a serve yourself fast food. Or if we can have custom phone cases cases why don't they have small nesting silver ware that fit them so I am not automatically given it/charged for it every time I buy food.
