Susan, thanks for sharing. I've always wanted to get a kitten and puppy together, and they'd grow up together to be best pals.
My favorite is doberman. We had two of them in the past, at different times. When the first one died, we got a puppy. After he died, we decided to not get any more dogs. They take a lot of time and energy for training.
Mine is the Belgian Malinois which I've had and worked with in the Military. Extremely energetic, loyal and protective, easily trained and if trained correctly very obedient.
I have two dogs, my PJ is a golden doodle, 9 years old and a therapy dog for two local nursing homes. My granpuppy is temporarily rehomed with me, chow-lab mix, very protective, easy going, STUBBORN! LOL
