Good journalism would be exposing a corrupt system and explaining to the public exactly how they’re getting screwed. This is not only accepting that system, but validating it by playing a cute, pointless game within its crooked parameters. It’s lackey journalism, disguised as something important. It’s also one of the most naked examples we’ve seen of the “unconscious collusion” mentioned before—the mainstream media carrying water for establishment interests. And in the end, it’s nothing more than the work of a horse-race apparatchik, either too blind or too craven to report something worthwhile.

It is still disturbing.
I was reading reports coming in from Puerto Rico & the voting issues that they were having... When AP & CNN declared Hillary Clinton.

It was a big WTF!? moment, of ' How can that be?'
We are officially living in The Twilight Zone.

It's been this way since the electronics of "instant" reporting became available. It's been over a half century now.

I don't think that repeating the same complaints about eager, undisciplined reporters jumping the gun, or "news" editors who have their eye more on the commercial bottom line than on any dedication to accuracy, is going to be any more effective now, than it was back when reporters lied via telegraph.
