Geesh what is needed are decent paying jobs to keep people off assistance. I know of several areas in FL people are struggling to find and get jobs.

Communism always looks bad no matter how you swing it.

Well, the US is moving towards Socialism which is a lesser version of Communism. So, it's just a matter of time.

If you move up the bottom then the middle just becomes the new bottom.

The top will always be the top until the monetary system collapses or there is a huge revolution to set things back to square one.

Actually if you go back to your political science courses you would realize yes socialism had integrated with democracy for Democratic Socialism Government. Forget about the monetary system for a minute. Forget it exists. Before that we traded services foods etc. And if someone did not have something the community came together to provide. People decided this and that was valuable. What we have put in place we can take asunder. And make sure no one suffers in the process. we can always rebuild a democracy or a government. everyone can either participate in the monetary controls or not participate. its possible to provide for yourself off nature still. This is where hate and individualism has gotten us.

Yes currency is a form of bartering. It is only backed by the confidence that it is worth something.


That's not going to happen in this day and age. That's a fantasy. Most people are out for themselves.

I have to totally disagree with you on this one. The population is too great to live off of nature. The animals would be all hunted in about 2 weeks. I have tried living off nature. It is impossible. A very well trained person can survive but that's about it.

Industry is now required to sustain the population. So, are GMO foods.

You are required to follow societies rules that's part of living in ANY society.

So, society does control your life.

Sure you can make simple decisions like where to buy your food sort of.

Let's say I want to have farm animals on my property to eat healthier.

I can't because zoning (society rules) won't allow for that.

The only way you can control your own life is to live outside of society. Good luck finding that nowadays.

You need a source of income for hunting, trapping and fishing licenses and equipment. Multiple licenses to hunt different animals.
You can ONLY hunt and fish during open seasons, not when you NEED the food. There are limits to what you can take.

If you live in a city there are probably laws regulating animals you can own and propagate to use as a food source.

My brother lives in a city where they fined a woman for having a vegetable garden in her front yard.

You can't just do what you want or need to do to live subsistence lifestyle anymore, even on your own land.
At least not legally.

Those animals you are hunting and fishing, unless 100% totally on private/leased(society) property all the time, are courtesy of Florida Fish and Wildlife (Society). They maintain the wildlife there.

And, at the end of the day you don't really own anything. Everything you own, eat, or drink is owned by the government in one way or another at the governments courtesy.

Unless you are your own Sovereign nation.

I didn't say EVERYPLACE had the same rules. States have their own rules regulating fishing and hunting. Plus there are federal laws regulating migratory birds and other animals.
The point being you can't just do what you want or need to do for a subsistence lifestyle.
There are very few circumstances where people get preferential treatment to hunt and fish for subsistence living, such as native Alaskans, there are still Federal guidelines that must be followed.

How about electing some politicians that know how to manage money! There are plenty of jobs out there for people who are willing to work, and if its fast food then NO you don't deserve $15 an hour,we can't be part of the world economy at that, that just brings the price of everything up and the poor will always end up wanting more. People who can't afford children should not have children and expect others to pay for it! All kinds of "poor people" have $700 cell phones, internet, cable TV , etc. Maybe they need to pay the rent and buy some food instead of spending on luxury items. We got it good in the USA compared to most places, but we have become spoiled, some people get it, and some people don't.
