You should update this thread weekly...might be interesting to watch.
Here's and RCP link that condenses all the polls and averages them out if you need it.

We spend way to much on social services on people who are perfectly capable of working instead they are on drugs being lazy at home

that's the republican claim anyhow

as someone who has looked for work, where transportation, location and skills matter for the number of jobs actually available, and people in the same location all applying for those jobs

I know that in the meantime, even 'capable' people will still need to have food and shelter,,,

I have no problem providing assistance for working people but not people sitting at home. Nobody is above flipping a burger or working in fields.if they do that and still need assistance no problem

I respect that opinion for sure

where others feel not taking jobs purposely just to have 'something' is a mark of lazy

others like me feel the opposite, that in an employers shoes , they invest in people that are going to stay on the job,, and just like they don't want to just hire anybody, they don't want just anybody applying

employers want people that are going to make their investment worth it , turnaround costs money

I don't feel anyone should sign a contract to work for someone if they don't have an intention to try to keep the job

but that's just me

However, this thread is about a couple of two-footed rats instead.

That's true but I think they should atleast try. While in the social services system they need to have proof they filled out applications and a lot of applications random drug tests and only receiving services for 6months a year the most without a job before they are cut off.
