This is wonderful, And yes up here Law enforcement are still honoured and respected for the most part.
Thank goodness...

I so agree with your statement
if you don't like your neighborhood either
fix it or leave...

I live in Fort Worth the out pour of support has been unreal for the Dallas Officers.....

Sure there are a few bad Cops but the good over way the bad... you will find good and bad in every profession..

But to just target shoot those that had nothing to do with what happen in another state is about as low as one can get.. Regardless who they are..

When they had the BLM Rally in Fort Worth a tweet had went out that don't be fooled the Firefighters are one and the same as Police Officers. Otherwise they could be the next target...

Fort Worth was on high alert due to that tweet for it said from 12am - 5am something was going to happen..We were lucky they were ready but nothing prepares you for a shooter on a roof top with a scope....

I have family members that are in the Police Force as well as a son in law that is a Fireman and several others in different states..

You must have respect for anyone who runs towards trouble while everyone else is running away from it. I do. While some few may dishonor whatever uniform they may wear their numbers are not in the majority and should not be the examples used to condemn their service as a whole.

Way to do it Dallas!

and kudos to media for reporting on one of many things people do to make their neighborhoods better, instead of painting a whole group as mere troublemakers.

I wonder how many who believe you should either make your neighborhood better or leave, have run for office under that same theory,,,,? just applying logic consistently

if you dont like how the country is run, either run for office or leave?

silly huh? people contribute in lots of DIFFERENT ways towards a goal of making things better...right?

If more people would take a stand and show their more than just talk

I think if people did that you'd get a more accurate idea of how horrible people actually are.

Don't like your naborhood??
Move or change it. !!

Does that include kidnapping the neighbors you don't like, taking them to the woods, and making them dig their own graves?
Violence is the easiest solution to problems.
You think people too lazy to do more than be all talk will all of a sudden make long term goals after late night planning sessions regarding neighborhood improvement?

You must have respect for anyone who runs towards trouble while everyone else is running away from it.

I don't.
I've met too many people that wanted to join the border patrol thinking they'd become snipers and be able to just shoot people walking over the border, believing that was legal, and people that bought foreclosed properties in bad neighborhoods, or just plain drove down to the poorer parts of town, sitting there with a gun waiting for someone to try and rob them, or to witness a crime, so they could have a valid reason to kill someone legally.

In my experience it's best to be wary of people that run towards trouble.

While some few may dishonor whatever uniform they may wear their numbers are not in the majority and should not be the examples used to condemn their service as a whole.

My personal experience with friends that went on to don a uniform they all turned into grade a d-bags or worse that abused their power, especially the younger they were.

My personal anecdotal experience has shown me the majority dishonor their uniforms in whatever way they can get away with and I'm thankful that there is a somewhat effective weeding out process to keep those that are even worse from donning a uniform.

Florida during the cocaine craze.....

Shortage of law enforcement recruits to deal with crime stemming from cocaine one way or another....

Law enforcement positions filled by abundantly-available criminals.....

There are many things which happen -long before law enforcement becomes necessarily involved -which create the end result and need to be addressed.

There are things which cause widespread criminality and shallow pool of good law enforcement recruits.

A surge in recruits can be a great thing -depending on the mindset and understanding of the recruits and the ways various agencies employ them.

Peace officers -just law and respect for it -outgoing concern for citizens -great.

People taking the job to gain power for other reasons.... trouble like nobody can imagine

Since every single cop takes the job knowing a condition of that job is enforcing immoral and unjust laws which have no actual victim (rights are from your Creator, by that definition society has no claim to them and cannot be the victim of a crime) I will have nothing but hatred and contempt for cops and continue believing that the only good cops are the ones who get turned into a folded flag. We have the right to LIBERTY. This is stated in our Declaration of Independence. This means you have the rigjt to do whatever you wish so.long as you do not violate the rights of another in the process. As the Declaration of Independence was written a full 13 years PRIOR to the ratification of the United States Constitution, EVERYTHING contained within it would be protected under Amendment IX of the United States Constitution
