Is it fare to say as human beings we should value people lives

Sure.
It's fair to say we "should" value peoples lives, everyone's life.
In reality, though, no, we shouldn't.
There's always going to be a hierarchy.
Always situations where you're going to have to choose to value one more than another.

So it was either your crippling and low possibility of death, to their guaranteed death. And, well, we can get your mom rape counseling and make her alllll better, and thanks to Obamacare we can keep you on the iron lung for 100 years. So, you see son, I had no choice."
Let's say that happened. How do you think the family is "really" going to treat that guy?

The U.S. has just accepted a bunch of refugees from a foreign culture, asking for little to no acculturation, sent all over the U.S. willy nilly.
There are millions of illegal immigrants. Bused to states and just sent on their merry way.
Millions to billions of dollars remitted to foreign countries as illegal immigrants come to this country, take jobs avoiding the mandated minimum wage, send the money home, then go back home after years to retire. Never acculturating, never contributing, simply making money for their foreign retirement and the betterment of their family in foreign countries at everyones local expense.
Who is my neighbor? I don't know anymore. A Chinese investor through a Canadian REIT purchased the house and is renting it to god knows who.
Why should I love them? Just because they exist?

high-archy in this world hoping to incite... a race riot... law officers will be out numbered and they need assistance from our military. Once our military takes over then " Marshall Law" sets in.
Do you really envision "race riots" or " New Age Civil War" to take place in every state, every county, every city?
Do you really believe there are enough black people to really cause a nationwide war?
Black people are like 12-14% of the population. What percent are actually going to participate in violence? Insurrection? Domestic abuse? Right infringement?
At best "race riots" or "new age civil war" will affect a few major cities, where there are dense populations.
In those cities the national guard may be called up to support overwhelmed police, it's very doubtful the military would actually be called up.
Even if it were, maybe martial law would be declared only in a few cities.

I saw a recent news story noting a study that finds body cams are contributing to shootings.
When cops feel their actions are justified and they actually have proof to back up their story, they're more likely to do something.

So then this would nullify the falsehood of cops being 'afraid to do their job' with cameras rolling, thus putting cops in more danger?
I'd like to see this study but I don't believe there is enough data just yet to determine a direct statistical correlation between the presence and use of BODYCAMS increasing the likelihood of police encounters ending in an officer involved shooting. Especially not in the case when the suspect(s) are/were persons of color.
UNLESS.......... They 1. Really just don't give a 5hit whether we live or die crime no crime armed unarmed. 2. They are so poorly trained that they can no longer persue, give chase, capture, call for backup etc. without killing someone. 3. Are so sick as we have seen video evidence in quite a few cases that they have no official reason legal penal or physical to even draw their pistol, yet they fire most often more than once into their 'target' until they know the deed is done.
It's like they are joining a club or putting notches in their battons. Sure there are knee jerk reactions and accidents like the reserve deputy that thought he pulled his tazer or the cop at the gas station but those are statistical outliers. They both immediately and repeatedly apologized and called for paramedics. That is excusable. That cant be compared to shooting someone 8 times in the back, purposely speeding up to run someone over or using illegal chokeholds until dead. We aren't talking about a shootout or an armed robbery or shooting in progress, in those circumstances lethal force may be the only option. Everybody understands that BUT many such cases end up with the gunmen surrendering being taken into custody ALIVE, tried and convicted. Every case is not the same, granted but a person running away from you with their back turned who cannot see you DOES NOT HAVE TO BE SHOT TO DEATH. They pose NO THREAT. A person surrounded by police who is trying to put his hands up AS ORDERED poses NO THREAT. A person with a tail light out or without a front license plate poses NO THREAT. 12 year old at a playground with a toy gun...
I am not at all saying that all cops are bad or all cops are racist, but it has been proven that policing for profit effects people of color more than whites in many cities not just Ferguson or Baltimore. They have a quota, they have to fill that quota for tickets, which is a CRIMINAL RACKETEERING OPERATION. You want to believe that it's fair and they're just doing their job, but if they only wrote tickets to keep the roads safe ( serve and PROTECT) they would not have a predetermined number of citations to i$$ue. These BODYCAMS can are and will be manipulated to attempt to show or not show the officers side of the story. Some cut off, are purposely obscured, don't record until turned on, and may not be released to the defendants lawyer, widow, family or even the jury let alone the public. WHY?
Why should we the people NOT be allowed to see or hear what our PEACE OFFICERS are saying and doing IN THE NAME OF THE LAW? Should we not be able to refute the story of an officer as to sequential order, nature, and severity, what or who is or is not present armed or unarmed and cite as evidence in defense the video? Or should we assume that every officer in every encounter is honest and accurate, just and fair, trustworthy and honorable in their speech action and reporting the events exactly as they occurred? Do all officers conduct their duty with integrity, act only to uphold the law IN ACCORDANCE TO THE LAW, to SERVE and PROTECT the people who pay their salary?
Take a look at some statistics of whites and minorities who have committed the same crimes. Compare the length of sentences or prison population. One of Nixon's cabinet members admitted on record that the war on drugs was a war on blacks, just recently his name is Erlichman. Of course the war grew out of the hands of police and the FBI and SBI's to the ATF DEA and god knows who else. Dwight Eisenhower warned us of the danger the Military Industrial Complex posed to the U.S., not our enemies. Now think about the patriot act the drone program, mass data collection, GPS tracking, black boxes in cars, every police car equipped with shotguns and or ar15's that used to be designated to swat teams who now have armored vehicles more suited for war than the unarmored hummers I drove IN A WAR ZONE for a year! You see nothing wrong with this? You are smart enough to see the agenda against semiautomatic rifles being attributed to everything under the sun but your everyday beat cop can make a selection from a full arsenal from pepperspray metal batons tazers stun guns pistols shotguns and assault rifles and is just a radio call away from having helicopters and bearcats and explosives fixed to ROBOTS! Eisenhower wouldn't just be rolling over in his grave he would be trying to drag it out to sea.
You think it is exclusively about race and it isn't. Yes race is a MAJOR contributing factor but essentially it is abuse of force/power/office and injustice. If a cop shoots an unarmed white person as just happened in Charlotte I am equally upset. The guy was deaf... Allegedly trying to use sign language when he was gunned down. I want justice for him and his family, in a Court of Law. I have absolute certainty this case will not have the same outcome of the Randall Kerrick mistrial where the victim who hadn't committed any crime at all but had just had a horrific accident and knocked on a door to try to get help was shot 10 times. The deaf man was followed for seven miles and was speeding and failed to pull over, and though he had technically committed a traffic violation and evaded the State Trooper who killed him (with mitigating circumstances) neither of the two had committed a crime whose severity justified use or threat of lethal force I guarantee you the more guilty speeder who evaded police will receive settlement and the officer will face a harsher penalty for his action. The other difference in these two cases in the same State (NC) have one other key difference, one was a mistake. You cannot equate one moving violation and an evasion (ignorance of the law is no excuse though any lawyer could mitigate the evasion charge) to NO CRIME with an injured person looking to neighbors police or EMT for medical attention. Not in an impartial court with an impartial judge who's intent is to decide justly based on facts and evidence. There is no retrial and will be no retrial for officer Kerrick, which means there is no motivation to see that a fair and impartial trial be conducted and decision based on the facts and evidence and result of said trial. Not for wrongful death, manslaughter, negligent homicide or murder in any degree. No violation of rights, abuse of force, and a mistrial is not a verdict of not guilty, it is no verdict, no decision, it is a lack of the Court to carry out due process and no intent to mete out any fine sentence suspension reprimand or termination. Constitution be damned. Equality be damned. Justice be damned.
