I would neither approach nor reply to a member that hasn't a photo in their profile. There can be a good reason why they haven't one, but I always assume otherwise. If they can see me, I think it's a reasonable expectation for me to want to see them, that is if they expect to receive a reply from me.

There are indeed good reasons for not showing pictures to public but deliver it personally to chatmates who meet criteria.
So I never rule out people by their profile (pictures) but from the way they communicate.

Has anyone been contacted by a pictureless/blurred picture person? Do you rule them out immediately? (I do, of course!) I wonder whether they just communicate with other people with no pictures... I've always found it baffling...Anyway, what are your thoughts/experiences? If you are one of those people, why do you do it? I'd be interested in hearing your views.


Yes, I do. Normally, those who get my attention are witty.

I can suppose that people who don't show their pictures on the site have definite reason for that. But personally I never respond to mails without pictures. I prefer it when everything is easy and open :)))
